DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. And Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of May 15, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., May 11 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of May 15, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays.
Conner Ave. (MI), will operate one eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling
Heights (MI), Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (MI), St. Louis-North (Fenton,
MO) and St. Louis-South (Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts
weekdays.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three seven-hour shifts
weekdays.  Newark (DE) and Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half-hour
shifts weekdays.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays and one
eight-hour shift Saturday, May 13.  Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-
half-hour shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half-hour shifts Saturday,
May 13.
