    ATLANTA, May 11 A total of 317 people attended the 45th
annual meeting of Ford Motor Company shareholders today at Zoo
Atlanta.
    Preliminary voting results indicate that a total of 943,674,303 shares of
common stock and 70,655,390 shares of Class B stock were represented at the
annual meeting in person or by proxy.  These shares represent 89.78 percent of
the votes that could be cast.
    Each director received at least 1,580,249,821 votes, or 93.058 percent of
the votes cast at the meeting.

    Vote on Proposals:

    Proposal 2. Relating to the approval of PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P. as
Ford Motor Company's independent public accountants for 2000.

    Proposal 3. Relating to disclosure of governmental affiliation of
