Snyder's of Hanover Joins 93.3 WMMR NASCAR Team
PHILADELPHIA, May 10 Snyder's of Hanover, America's
Pretzel Bakery since 1909, today announced its decision to become the title
sponsor of the WMMR NASCAR for three races over the next four months.
"Snyder's of Hanover is very pleased to announce its decision to be the
title sponsor of the WMMR (93.3 FM/Philadelphia) NASCAR," says Claude
O'Connor, Vice President - Sales and Marketing for Snyder's of Hanover
(Hanover, PA). Driver Bill Hoff of Hoff Motorsports, Langhorne, PA, will race
the "93" Snyder's of Hanover WMMR car in three local races this season at
Dover and Nazareth.
"We couldn't be happier with the work that WMMR has done to bring on a
such a high profile corporate sponsor as Snyder's," says Hoff. "NASCAR can
attract national and international companies, but what makes this deal even
sweeter, is that WMMR and Hoff Motorsports have been able to find a great
Pennsylvania based company as a partner."
The Snyder's of Hanover WMMR NASCAR will debut at the MBNA Platinum 200 at
Dover Downs International Speedway in Dover, DE on June 3, 2000. Following
the June 3rd race, Hoff will race the Snyder's of Hanover WMMR NASCAR at
Nazareth, PA on July 16th, and Dover again on September 23rd. O'Connor
continues, "Snyder's of Hanover and WMMR will be supporting these three great
races with `enter to win' contests for tickets and other fun prizes including
racing apparel and collectibles.
"This local sponsorship program extends Snyder's of Hanover support of
NASCAR, currently in our rookie year as Associate Sponsor of the #50 Dr Pepper
Car owned by Joe Washington and Julius Erving and driven by Tony Roper.
