DynaMotive Announces European and Korean Agency Agreements

DynaMotive's DynaPower Wire Cleaning Division Announces European and Korean Agency Agreements, Additional Order for 2000 and Completion of All 1999 Orders

    VANCOUVER, May 9 /CNW-PRN/ - DynaMotive Technologies Corporation (OTCBB:
DYMTF) announced today that its DynaPower division has signed agency
agreements with Outokumpu WTT of Norrkoping, Sweden and Gold Line
International Co., Ltd. of Seoul, Korea. In addition, the Company announced
that it has made an additional sale to Andrew Corporation and has also
completed all orders from 1999 on time and on budget. The announcements were
made following Wire 2000 - Europe's largest wire industry trade show held in
Dusseldorf, Germany - where the DynaPower division showcased its wire cleaning
technology to the large European wire industry.
    Commenting on the international agency agreements, DynaPower General
Manager Jim Alexander said, ``Following up on our record sales in 1999, the
DynaPower division continues to make steady progress. In addition to new sales
completed this year, we have signed two important agency agreements. Our
agreement with Outokumpu WTT will allow DynaPower to exclusively represent
WTT's copper plating and coating lines in North America. Our agreement with
Gold Line International provides access to the large wire cleaning market in
Korea. We anticipate that both agreements will result in increased
international sales of DynaPower systems as well as increased revenues through
our North American sales network.''
    Outokumpu WTT of Norrkoping, Sweden is a world leader in surface and
water treatment in the wire industry. The company specializes in high speed
copper coating systems and plating lines. Outokumpu WTT is a wholly owned
subsidiary of Outokumpu Oyj of Espoo, Finland, a EUR 3 billion per year
company listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange (HEX: OUT) with business areas
in stainless steel, copper products, base metals and metal technology. In this
