Standard MEMS Inc. Opens New End Product Design Center
BURLINGTON, Mass. / SHELTON, Conn.--May 8, 2000-- Standard MEMS Inc., the leading independent supplier of MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) devices and sensors, announced today the opening of the company's End Product Design Center in Shelton, Connecticut. The center will address its customers increased demand for packaged MEMS solutions, which cover a broad spectrum in the telecommunications, medical, Bio-medical, automotive, industrial and information peripherals market segments. The Company's engineers have been instrumental in designing and developing a wide range of sensor products from automotive sensors to optical switching devices.
