Gunnell to chief financial officer. In this role, Gunnell will have multiple duties, primarily be responsible for managing PNV's financial operations and will report directly to Bob May, the company's president and chief executive officer. Before this, he was engaged as an independent management and financial consultant for several diverse clients. His last assignment was for Digex, a subsidiary of InterMedia Communications, specializing in web hosting and web-enabled application solutions. Earlier, he was a senior vice president and chief financial officer for AutoNation USA of Fort Lauderdale. From 1978 to 1997, Gunnell held several high-level financial and management positions for JM Family Enterprises, a $5 billion privately owned group of automotive-related companies. His last position was executive vice president and chief financial officer. An entrepreneur by nature, Gunnell is a founder and co-owner of Bob and Jack's Trucking Company, a new vehicle hauling business that currently has 75 leased trucks and car carriers in operation.
