AutoZone Names Chief Content OfficerMEMPHIS, Tenn, May 4 AutoZone, Inc. , announced Brett D. Easley, 41, senior vice president, has been named chief content officer. In this new role, Easley will be responsible for the development and validity of the large volumes of information required to support customer transactions both from AutoZone's supplier base and internal sources. He will continue to serve as president of ALLDATA and report to Tim Vargo, president and COO. "This move further emphasizes our focus on information as the lifeblood of our industry. Brett's obsession with quality content is only the beginning of what he'll bring to this new position. His impact will be felt in our store systems, in training and as we move forward with e-commerce," said John C. Adams Jr., chairman and CEO.
