EL CAJON, Calif.--May 4, 2000--COMPOSITE AUTOMOBILE RESEARCH LTD. (OTCBB:CARH) (POH:FRANKFURT) through it's wholly owned subsidiary; World Transport Authority Inc., (WTA) is pleased to announce that it has formed a wholly owned subsidiary named WorldStar(R) Logistics Corp. (WLC).The purpose for forming this new subsidiary is to manage the global distribution and logistics process for WTA. WLC will manage the entire logistical process relating to Master License Holders and the deployment of WorldStar(R) factories and parts around the world. WLC plans on utilizing state of the art Computing and Telecommunications equipment in conjunction with this operation, thus eliminating the need and cost for a large employ of personnel. World Transport Authority Inc. fully expects that once up and running that WLC will become an additional profit center for the company.
Kenneth Trapp and Michael Trigillo will staff the new company. Trapp has served in a management capacity for companies such as Computer Transport Intl., Mitsubishi Corporation and the Southland Corporation. Trapp possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Connecticut. Trapp will manage the overall operations of WLC and report directly to WTA management.
Trigillo has in excess of 16 years in the transportation industry with companies such as Computer Transport Intl., Valley Logistics as well as Ryder and North American Van Lines. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Mt. St. Mary's College. Trigillo will concentrate on the development of the company, negotiating agreements and the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for the company, etc.
Logistics is defined from WTA's perspective as managing the entire supply chain. WLC will leverage technology, finance and add value to WTA's customers. Logistics breaks down into the following components:
