Pick-Ups Plus Announces the Acquisition of Its Florence, KY Store
MASON, Ohio--May 3, 2000--Pick-Ups Plus, Inc. (OTCBB:PUPS) announced today that it had finalized the acquisition of the Florence, Kentucky store from Mr. Brian Glover, the original franchisee, who will now become part of the parent Company's management team. This acquisition will add $850,000 in annual revenues and enhances the Company's ability to attract future acquisitions and provides working capital for the opening of additional Company owned stores.Pick-Ups Plus President, John Fitzgerald said: "Not only are we delighted to have Brian Glover on our management team, but this will add significant revenue to our financial statement as we add to our number of Company owned stores. It is our intention to add at least two (2) more Company owned stores by year-end and we have received a number of inquiries from other acquisition candidates since we became the first public company in our field."
