Infiniti Announces April Sales Figures; I30 and QX4 Lead Sales Increase

    CARSON, Calif., May 2 Infiniti, the luxury division of
Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) reported total April sales of 6,305 units, a
62.8% increase versus last year, making this the best April results in the
history of the division.  The all new I30, which went on sale last fall,
continues its sales momentum with 2,935 units, an increase of 82.7% over last
year.
    The QX4 continues its strong sales with 1,930 units, an increase of
105.2% versus last year.
    The Q45, Infiniti's flagship luxury performance sedan, had total sales of
403 units, while the G20 posted sales of 1,036 units for the month of April.
    Nissan North America, Inc. sales for April, including Nissan and Infiniti
Divisions, totaled 61,078, a 34.5% increase over last year.
    Infiniti is supported by a network of approximately 150 retailers
throughout North America and offers a range of luxury vehicles including the
Infiniti QX4 luxury Sport Utility Vehicles, G20 sports sedan, I30 luxury
