Land Rover North America, Inc. Announces April Sales Figures of 1,594 Units

  April Close Marks the Best Year-to-Date Sales Figure Ever for the Company

    LANHAM, Md., May 2 Land Rover North America, Inc. has
posted April sales of 1,594 units.  This is the second best April result ever
for Land Rover.  Land Rover has sold 8,661 units year-to-date through April;
this result is the best April year-to-date figure ever for the company.
Furthermore, April 2000 was the second best April ever for Discovery Series II
model sales.
