(NSF-ISR) (http://www.nsf-isr.org ). To ensure a smooth transition, he will continue to serve NSF-ISR in an advisory capacity. Kevan Lawlor, treasurer of NSF-ISR since its inception, has assumed leadership of the organization. Lawlor also will retain his current responsibilities as chief financial officer of NSF International, the parent company of NSF-ISR. Prior to joining NSF International, Lawlor held financial management positions at Uniroyal and Guardian Industries, both global automotive industry suppliers. His appointment reinforces NSF-ISR's strong commitment to the automotive industry. Of his new position, Lawlor noted, "Management systems registration must provide measurable business benefits to our clients and their customers. As a certified financial internal auditor, coupled with my industry experience and fifteen years with NSF, my primary focus will be helping our clients achieve those benefits." Dougherty had been president of NSF-ISR since the company was founded in 1996. Under his direction, the fast-growing management systems registrar earned an outstanding reputation for service and responsiveness. Quality Digest, a leading trade publication, recently ranked NSF-ISR one of the top three registrars in overall customer satisfaction. "I have had the privilege and honor to serve as the first president of NSF-ISR, helping to build its solid reputation of credibility and integrity," commented Dougherty. Before his appointment as president of NSF-ISR, Dougherty distinguished himself during twenty years with NSF International as a laboratory manager, program manager, director of product certification and listings, and director of field operations. He holds a master's degree in public health from the University of Michigan and a bachelor of science degree in biology from Lake Superior State College.
