Pennzoil-Quaker Names Falivene Senior VP Of Supply Chain Development

Pennzoil-Quaker State Company Names Rob Falivene Senior Vice President Of Supply Chain Development
    HOUSTON, May 1 Pennzoil-Quaker State Company (NYSE: PZL)
announced today that Rob Falivene has been appointed Senior Vice President of
Supply Chain Development.  Falivene will focus primarily on continuing the
automotive consumer product company's development of a world-class supply
chain vision and strategy.  He will be responsible for building and executing
the strategy, providing a direct and indirect impact on business results by
reducing costs while achieving market competitive service levels, cycle times
and customer satisfaction.
    Falivene will have responsibility for Pennzoil-Quaker State Company's
supply chain management initiative designed to take out cost and improve
performance in procurement, distribution, logistics, transportation, and
packaging and blending operations.  He will develop a model to support, align,
and integrate systems and structures across the organization.

    Falivene has 17 years of experience in supply chain management, most
recently as chief procurement officer for Equiva Services, a joint venture of
Shell, Texaco and Saudi Aramco.  Immediately prior to that he was vice
president of Supply Chain Management for Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., a
division of PepsiCo.  From 1983 until 1998, he held positions of increasing
responsibility in supply chain management and supplier development for
Anheuser Busch Companies, Inc. and PepsiCo.
