GDT Adds Vice President, Transportation Data Applications To Address Needs of Growing Location Services Market
LEBANON, N.H.--May 1, 2000--Geographic Data Technology, Inc., a developer of premier map databases, announced today the promotion of Dan Adams to Vice President, Transportation Data Applications. In this new role, Adams will be responsible for the management of GDT's service to the expanding transportation and mobile location services markets. Adams will oversee development of products targeted to these markets and will work closely with customers to better understand their evolving needs.Adams was previously GDT's manager of business development for transportation. In that role, he has greatly expanded GDT's presence within the transportation, routing and logistics markets while working closely with the product development group to ensure that GDT products provide the nationwide accuracy and additional attribute information needed for the emerging location services market. Adams also previously served in GDT's sales department, where he was responsible for transportation sales. Adams has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire.
