AMA: Motorcycle Race Results, April 29-30, 2000

2000 AMA/EA Sports Supercross Series, Round 15: Route 66 Motor Speedway Joliet,
Illinois, April 29,2000

Team Honda$B!G(Bs Kevin Windham put his CR250R onto the podium again with a
third-place finish as fellow Red Riders Mike LaRocco and Sebastien Tortelli
rounded out the top five at round 15 of the AMA/EA Sports Supercross Series.
Jeremy McGrath won the event at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Joliet, Illinois and
clinched the series championship, his seventh. David Vuillemin was second on the
night and maintains second in series points.

Joliet was the final round of the AMA 125cc Eastern Region Supercross Series,
and Team FMF/Honda racer Brock Sellards ended up a close second in final points
behind new champion Stephane Roncada.

The Supercross series moves on to Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 6
for the final round 16 of the series.

2000 FIM World Superbike Championship Round 3: Sportsland Sugo, Sugo, Japan,
April 30, 2000

Castrol Honda's Colin Edwards maintains second overall in the points standings
after finishing fifth and third, respectively, in the two Wold Superbike races
held in round three of the World Superbike championship at the Sugo circuit in
Japan. Wild card rider Hitoyasu Izutsu was the winner of both races on a
Kawasaki.

Round 4 of the World Superbike Series moves to Donington Park in Donington,
England on May 14.
