Hires Cynthia Symington As Public Relations ManagerSOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 28 Internet Operations Center, Inc., a leading application service provider focused on the automotive industry has hired Cynthia Symington, as public relations manager. "Cynthia has an extensive background in public relations, special event and trade show management. Prior to joining IOC, Symington managed public relations activities on projects involving such clients as Ford Motor Company, General Motors and the New Dodge. With 15 years of experience, Symington has developed and implemented public relations strategies for automotive and general business clients, serving as project management liaison to Chrysler Corporation. She also worked with the Detroit Auto Dealers Association coordinating activities for the North American International Auto Show. She holds a master's degree in business administration from Central Michigan University and bachelor's degree from Wayne State University. Symington resides in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. and volunteers her time as public relations consultant for the Racial Unity 2000 Conference held annually at Cobo Center.
