DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. And Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of May 1, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 27 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of May 1, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays and
two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 29.  Conner Ave. (MI), will operate one
eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling Heights (MI) will operate two nine-hour
shifts weekdays.  Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (MI) and St. Louis-South
(Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-hour
shifts Saturday, April 29.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three
seven-hour shifts weekdays.  Newark (DE) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays.  St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts
weekdays.  Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays and two
eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 29.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half-hour
shifts weekdays.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays and two
eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 29.  Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-
half-hour shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half-hour shifts Saturday,
April 29.
