Oxford Automotive Appoints David Arndt Vice President & GM

Oxford Automotive Appoints David Arndt Vice President & General Manager of Forging Division
    TROY, Mich., April 26 Oxford Automotive, Inc., a Tier 1
OEM automotive supplier of manufactured engineered metal components,
assemblies and modules, recently appointed David Arndt to vice president and
general manager of the company's Forging Division.
    As vice president and general manager of the Forging Division, Arndt will
be responsible for the Wallaceburg and Chatham facilities that manufacture
light truck and SUV leaf springs.  In addition, he will also direct the
joint venture, Metal-CAR, in Venezuela and the Cambridge plant in Canada
while leading efforts to expand the forging business to complement newly
developed integrated systems and modules.
    Arndt has a M.B.A. from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's in
Electrical Engineering from General Motors Institute.  He was formerly the
president of the Metal Forming Division of AG Simpson as well as executive
vice president of Sales, Engineering and Quality.  Prior to that he was the
executive vice president at Tool and Engineering and vice president of Body
and Chassis Systems at MascoTech.  He has also worked at the OEM level with
General Motors and Chrysler.
