Marshall & Ilsley's Origins(TM) Subsidiary and AAA Team to Bring Virtual Banking to Potentially 37 Million Members Nationwide
    Origins(TM), a Leading Provider of Financial Products and Operational
Services, Joins Forces With Nation's Federation of Affiliated Automobile Clubs

    MILWAUKEE, April 24 Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE: MI) (M&I) today announced AAA has
selected M&I, and its subsidiary companies, M&I Data Services, its Origins
division, and M&I Bank, to provide banking products and services to
potentially more than 37 million AAA members in the United States.
    Origins will provide AAA with its comprehensive virtual banking
capabilities.  Origins, in conjunction with M&I Bank, will also supply a wide
range of deposit and loan products.  Available to AAA members of participating
clubs, the products will be branded as AAA, and supported 24 hours a day,
seven days a week through AAA club web sites and M&I's ISO9002-certified
customer services.
