Tracks: Special Saturday Car Club Shows at Irwindale Speedway adds to pre race excitement

Irwindale, Calif. - - Every Saturday night at Irwindale Speedway is a great night for taking in some exciting NASCAR racing and it's also a great night for taking in a cool car show too! Car Clubs from all over Southern California each have their own special night to shine at the Speedway. From strictly stock to the wildest custom, from hot rods to muscle cars, and from vintage track cars to the latest-greatest street rods … Fans are sure to see something that gets their "motors running" on any Saturday night that they attend an Irwindale Speedway racing event. Up to 50 special vehicles will be in attendance in the Chalet Village park just west of the grandstands from 4 o'clock on … Every Saturday night during the season. The best part of the deal is the fact that the show is free with admission to the Speedway. Fans are invited to take a short stroll over to see some of the finest rolling stock that they've ever laid eyes on. Compare notes, talk to the proud owners, maybe get some hot ideas for a custom car of their own … Or just enjoy all the beauty, that's what they are there for! And … Don't miss the official paced parade lap before the races. Twice past the grandstands for these beauties … It's only a couple of laps, but it's something that the participants have a ball doing, and the crowd always loves.
