TRISM, Inc. Announces Order of 315 New Tractors

    KENNESAW, Ga., April 20 TRISM, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: TSMX.OB) announced today the order of 315 new
Freightliner Columbia 2001 model year tractors.  Delivery of the new tractors
will begin in July of 2000 with completion scheduled for October.
    These new trucks will be Mid-Roof XT or Raised Roof configurations
and will feature 430 or 500 hp Detroit Diesel Engines with Meritor 10-speed or
Eaton-Fuller 15-speed transmissions and will include newly designed EzyRide
seats and expanded personal storage space.
    "This agreement for the purchase of these tractors reinforces our
commitment to our drivers, customers, and long-term growth in our specialized
markets," stated TRISM's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Ed McCormick.
McCormick also added, "We are pleased with our ongoing partnership with
Freightliner Corporation and the Neely Coble Company to provide a high calibre
