PPG Directors Set Dividend

    PITTSBURGH--April 20, 2000--The board of directors of PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) declared a regular quarterly dividend of 40 cents a share, payable June 12 to shareholders of record May 10.
    PPG has paid dividends without interruption since 1899.
