Dollar Takes Dollar.com Site to Next Level With Re-Design, Customer to Benefit

    TULSA, Okla., April 20 Dollar Rent A Car today unveiled
the new look of the company's Web site, http://www.dollar.com.  Ranked the number one
car rental site by the independent online ranking service, Gomez Advisors,
dollar.com has made several customer-focused site enhancements.
    Dollar.com site enhancements include a new e-mail specials newsletter
found within the Special Offers section, where customers can sign-up to
receive the newsletter; a new promotions area on the right side of the home
page that includes monthly destination features -- providing location-specific
information and special offers; and during the reservations process, customers
will now have two additional car type options offered to them on each rate
request, providing an easier, faster tool for customers to shop for the best
car to fit their travel needs.
    "The re-design of dollar.com was a direct result of customer feedback,"
Charlie Coniglio, Executive Director, Marketing, says.  "Dollar.com was
already an award-winning site, but we wanted to take it to the next level and
make it easier than ever for the customer to rent a DOLLAR(R) car.  Our
customer feedback helped us accomplish that."
    Customers will also still be able to access Dollar Rent A Car's full-
service travel site, DollarTravel.com, from the dollar.com home page.
DollarTravel.com offers consumers user-friendly online access to airlines,
hotels and competitive car rentals.
