Collins & Aikman Corporation Announces Two Key Personnel Changes in EuropeTROY, Mich., April 19 Collins & Aikman Corporation's (NYSE: CKC) European Automotive Interior Systems Group Division President D. Michael Weston announced two strategic personnel appointments today. Dr. Hans-Jochen Braun has joined Collins & Aikman as Senior Vice President of European Operations, reporting to Division President D. Michael Weston. He holds a Graduate Mechanical Engineering degree and an IKP Institute Doctorate in Plastics from the University of Stuttgart in Germany. Braun was previously the Vice President of Operations for Magna Exterior Systems Europe. Jean-Pierre Reynders has been appointed Director of Quality, Europe, reporting directly to Dr. Hans-Jochen Braun. Reynders was previously Director of Quality, Europe for Johnson Controls International. Reynders holds an Engineering degree from University RHIK at Mol, Belgium, and a Master's degree in Total Quality Management from Belgium University. In making the announcements, Weston stated, "The addition of Braun and Reynders further strengthens Collins & Aikman's core European management team and complements the experience and expertise we already have in place."
