Qvale Automotive Group Announces Enhanced Service Plan For Its 2000 Qvale MangustaNEW YORK, April 19 Following its split with DeTomaso, the Qvale Automotive Group today announced a revised service plan for the 2000 Mangusta in North America. The new plan includes a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty on parts and service, and features free transportation to and from the Qvale Automotive Group's regional sales and service centers in the U.S. within a 250-mile radius of each factory store. Vehicles requiring service will be picked up and tailored at no cost to the nearest Qvale Automotive Group factory service point if the customer lives within a 250-mile radius of the store. For customers outside the 250-mile radius, the customer will be responsible for transportation costs beyond the 250-mile limit. "We want to offer our customers hands-on, trouble-free, no hassle service," said Bruce Qvale, president and CEO of the Qvale Automotive Group. "Our plan is to have our own fleet of trucks and technicians handle the pick- up, service, and delivery of our vehicles. If a customer needs a trim piece adjustment, for example, we'll send our technician to the customer's home to perform the alteration. If major repairs are necessary, the car will be transported to one of our regional service centers, where Qvale Automotive Group factory technicians, trained at our Qvale Modena facility in Italy, will handle the repairs." Presently the Qvale Automotive Group operates four regional factory sales and service facilities in North America -- Beverly Hills, California, San Francisco, California, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and a soon-to-open facility in the greater New York metropolitan area. In addition, the Midwest will be served by a factory service-only center located in Troy, Michigan. The Qvale Mangusta's enhanced service plan includes replacement transportation available upon request. There is no limit on the number of service visits a customer may request during the warranty period. At the expiration of the two-year, unlimited mileage warranty, customers will have the option to continue the service for a pre-determined fee. "Our plan is for complete customer satisfaction," said Qvale. "If we have to make three trips to please a customer, then that's what we'll do. In addition to the regular service, our technicians will be able to inspect the cars and make adjustments or fixes that the customer might not have requested. Our goal is to surprise and delight Mangusta owners, and to make them feel that they're part of a family." The 2000 Qvale Mangusta will be on display in the Crystal Palace at the New York Auto Show through Sunday, April 30. Priced at $82,000.00 (U.S.), the Mangusta is equipped with a full Connolly leather interior, and a Nakamichi(R) MB-75 stereo with integrated 6-CD in-dash MusicBank(TM) changer.
