AuraGen Displayed in New York and California, First Sales to LA Sheriff and Police

    EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--April 18, 2000--Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:AURA) announced today that the General Motors Terradyne Concept Vehicle with the built in AuraGen will be exhibited in the upcoming New York International Auto Show in Manhattan beginning on April 22 through April 30, 2000.
    At the same time, the AuraGen will have its official introduction to the Telephone Industry at the California Telephone Association show in Sacramento starting on April 18, 2000. These shows follow the National Association of Broadcasters show in Las Vegas during the week of April 10, where AuraGen was displayed by a number of suppliers for Electronic News Gathering applications. In addition to the above shows, the AuraGen will be shown as part of the General Motors professional Sierra exhibit in numerous professional shows throughout the country in the coming months.
    The AuraGen was also installed recently on the first purchased units from the LA County Sheriff and the LA City Police.
    The AuraGen Mobile Generator system is a commercial under-the-hood, engine driven generator capable of providing 5,000 Watts of continuous, pure sine wave, 60 Hz, 120/240 VAC power for operating any type of equipment in combination, from the most sensitive digital computer to the most brute force compressor. The system provides the same quality of electrical power whether the vehicle is stationary or mobile. Commercial end-users include utility companies, communications companies, state, local and federal agencies, among others, on a variety of vehicles.
