Elite Logistics Inc. Announces Memorandum of Understanding With Motorola Latin America and Caribbean Region

FREEPORT, Texas--April 17, 2000--Elite Logistics Inc. (OTCBB:ELOG) (OTCBB:ELOGE), announced today that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Motorola (NYSE:MOT) Latin America and Caribbean Region (LACR) following which the parties will seek to negotiate a contract for Motorola LACR to become the exclusive distributor of Elite Logistics' PageTrack(TM) Intelligent Vehicle System (IVS) throughout Latin America. The MOU has a term of 60 days, during which the parties will work to conclude a definitive exclusive distribution agreement.

    About PageTrack(TM)

Wireless automotive tracking systems have been available for several years. However, they had been prohibitively expensive and therefore the predominant domain of luxury vehicles and large long haul fleets. Elite Logistics' PageTrack(TM) system provides a low-cost approach that will broadly expand the potential markets for IVS products.
PageTrack(TM) integrates a GPS receiver, Motorola's CreataLink 2XT transceiver utilizing ReFlex two-way wireless telemetry technology over the SkyTel paging network to provide a cost-effective end-to-end asset locating, command and control system.
The PageTrack(TM) family of products has been designed to address the critical need to improve productivity, reduce costs, increase security and improve asset management for mobile assets. PageTrack(TM) can monitor, track (including via the Internet), analyze and control the movement of virtually any object, including ground vehicles, marine vessels, railway equipment and valuable objects in transit. In addition to communicating via a secure Internet link, PageTrack(TM) owners can communicate with, and remotely manage, functions on the vehicle via a two-way pager, a Palm Pilot PDA, an Internet access-enabled cellular phone or by calling Elite's 24-hour Customer Support Control Center.
PageTrack(TM) command capabilities can include the unlocking of a vehicle's doors when the keys have been locked inside, remotely commanding the ignition to start to warm it up on cold mornings or cool it down in warm weather, as well as performing many other value-added functions. In addition to monitoring location, PageTrack(TM) capabilities include monitoring sensors on the vehicle or trailer (e.g. door open/close) and notification of events such as alarm or airbag activation.
In the event of an installed alarm activation, PageTrack(TM) can automatically notify customers, via a variety of communications means, that the system is alarmed, thus indicating that their vehicle may be in the process of being stolen. The owner can then instruct the PageTrack(TM) unit to trigger an installed alarm, sound the horn, disable the vehicle and/or notify local law enforcement of the vehicle's location.
