Executive Changes at Pep Boys
PHILADELPHIA--April 14, 2000--The Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack (NYSE: "PBY"), the nation's leading full service automotive aftermarket chain, announced that in conjunction with the recent promotion of George Babich, Jr., to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Bernard K. McElroy, who joined Pep Boys in 1980 and has served as Assistant Vice President-Finance, has been promoted to Vice President-Finance.The Company also announced that Michael J. Holden has resigned as Executive Vice President to pursue personal interests.
