Federal-Mogul Honored by Toyota for Quality PerformanceSOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 14 Federal-Mogul Corporation (NYSE: FMO) has earned Certificate of Achievement awards from Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America, Inc. (TMMNA). The company's Powertrain Systems facility in Greenville, Michigan, and its Skokie, Illinois, Sealing Systems facility received the awards for superior quality. Awards are given annually to suppliers providing the highest standards in quality, delivery, value improvement and cost reduction for parts, materials, transportation and export. The awards were presented during TMMNA's annual Supplier Business Meeting and Awards Ceremony. With nearly 500 employees, the Greenville plant supplies the main and rod bearings for Toyota. The facility manufactures automotive and heavy-duty engine bearings. Skokie has 2,100 employees and manufactures a broad line of technically advanced gaskets for the automotive and heavy-duty vehicle markets.
