United Recyclers Group Giving Out Auto Recycling Coloring Books To Qualified Grade SchoolsDENVER, April 14 United Recyclers Group, LLC, a Partnership of over 350 Auto Recyclers across the United States and Canada, and their Corporate Offices located in Denver, Colorado, celebrate Earth Day on April 22, 2000. In following with the URG tradition, the company will again distribute their auto recycling coloring books to qualified grade schools. The coloring book, entitled, "What happens to cars after they are wrecked," shows the life of a car and what happens to it after it has been wrecked in a car accident. This informative 18 page coloring booklet, gives the student a better understanding about how the auto recycling industry recycles over 11 million vehicles each year and the responsibility that the recycling industry has in saving the Planet Earth. "Auto Recyclers play a very important role in preserving the planet earth," said Sharon Kellum, United Recyclers Group Business Manager. "As recyclers we feel we have a duty to educate the public on the importance of auto recycling, and how it just makes sense to recycle automobiles." The coloring book also has a glossary of terms that are often used in the auto recycling industry, along with some informative information on other forms of recycling that can be done to help save the environment. The coloring booklet is available on a limited basis, and given out to accredited K-3 schoolteachers (30 booklets per teacher only) in the United States and Canada. The booklets can also be downloaded off of the World Wide Web at http://www.u-r-g.com.
