KeyTrak Announces Move to Direct Sales Force
ATLANTA--April 14, 2000--KeyTrak(TM), Inc., of Atlanta, Ga., announced today that the company would discontinue all sales through its authorized KeyTrak distributors as of May 8, 2000, and would market KeyTrak products and services through a direct sales force under the supervision of the KeyTrak corporate office in Atlanta, Ga.
KeyTrak field managers will be located throughout the United States and Canada, according to Mark Singleton, president of KeyTrak. "Instead of having just 10 distributors covering the U.S., we'll now have sales representatives in every key area in the country. As a result, we'll definitely be able to be more responsive to inquiries and to customers," Singleton said.
Overseeing the new sales force will be C.B. Huchingson, KeyTrak's newly named Vice President of Sales. "C.B. brings a wealth of sales experience and automotive industry knowledge to our company," said Singleton, and, more importantly, he has the know-how and expertise required to build a sales force from the ground up," Singleton added. Huchingson will be based in KeyTrak's Atlanta headquarters.
Before joining KeyTrak, Huchingson was vice president of sales and customer satisfaction for Bell & Howell Publication Systems, and most recently, served as General Manager of Bell & Howell's Financial Software Systems group.
In addition to announcing the formation of the new sales force, KeyTrak also announced that it had expanded its customer support offerings, by more than doubling its operational staff and installation teams.
"Our newly expanded support group will work closely with C.B. and his sales staff to ensure that our company and our products provide the key control and management tools that dealerships need today," said Singleton.
The expanded service and sales teams are part of an aggressive program implemented by KeyTrak to improve its service and increase sales. The company currently has key control systems in more than 3,000 automotive dealerships in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
