DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. And Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of April 17, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 13 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of April 17, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL), Newark (DE) and St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO) will operate
two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  Conner Ave. (MI) will operate one eight-hour
shift weekdays.  Sterling Heights (MI) will operate two nine-hour shifts
weekdays.  Dodge City Complex-Warren Truck (MI) and St. Louis-South (Fenton,
MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays and two eight-hour shifts
Saturday, April 15.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI) will operate three seven-
and-a-half-hour shifts weekdays.  Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour
shifts weekdays and two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 15.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half-hour
shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half-hour shifts on Saturday April 15.
Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  Windsor will operate
three seven-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half-hour
shifts on Saturday, April 15.
