Trilogy MultiChannel Commerce 2.0 Powers Customer-Facing E-business On www.jaguar.com/us

    AUSTIN, Texas--April 12, 2000--

Trilogy's Scalable Solution Implemented in Three Months to Deliver
Nationwide Consumers Comprehensive Information for a Hassle-Free
    Buying Experience

Trilogy, a leading provider of enterprise-class e-business solutions, announced today that its Trilogy MultiChannel Commerce(TM) 2.0 solution is powering customer-facing e-business on www.jaguar.com/us.
Trilogy's e-commerce solution is providing Jaguar Cars North America with an online destination for consumers to build a Jaguar luxury automobile to their exact specifications, request a price quote, and receive information about the dealer in their area who can complete the sale.
Trilogy's scalable, easy-to-use online resource arms customers with all of the information they need for a hassle-free car buying experience, bringing Jaguar closer to the preferences of end-users and delivering qualified leads to Jaguar's nationwide network of dealers.
"Jaguar is adopting a multichannel e-business strategy to bring us closer to our customers and to provide greater sales and service value to our dealers. The Trilogy MultiChannel Commerce solution is an important component of that strategy," said Al Saltiel, General Marketing Manager at Jaguar. "By leveraging the Internet to better serve customers, presenting them with more options and information to meet their needs, and referring them to our dealers to complete the sale, Jaguar is helping to drive e-business and customer service innovation in the automotive industry."
Trilogy implemented an easy-to-use, complete online information resource for Jaguar's nationwide customers. The site has been designed to handle thousands of concurrent users and offers an end-to-end solution, including complete features and options packages, and a tool that dynamically updates price based on option selection.
Site visitors simply browse Jaguar's complete product offering, select the make and model they are interested in, and price different options and packages based on their personal preference. The customer can then request a price quote from a local dealership that can fulfill the order for the customer.
"Trilogy is proud to be one of the solution providers powering Jaguar's customer-facing Web strategy to facilitate the consumer experience between Jaguar, its dealers, and the end customer," said Ajay Agarwal, vice president of e-commerce at Trilogy. "Our partnership with Jaguar is another example of how Trilogy is empowering leading manufacturers to increase the speed and agility with which they respond to market demands and consumer preferences through scalable, customer-facing e-business deployments."
