Cheap Tickets Partners With Alamo and Avis to Offer Discounted Car Rentals
Cheap Tickets Signs Preferred Partner Agreements With Leading Car Rental
Agencies; Substantial Increase in Rental Car Sales Anticipated in 2000

HONOLULU, April 10 Cheap Tickets, Inc. , a
leading discount travel seller, today announced it has signed preferred
partnership agreements with Alamo and Avis. Now, Cheap Tickets customers can
book discounted car rentals with their air travel purchase either online at
http://www.cheaptickets.com or through its toll-free number, 1-800-OKCHEAP.
The new preferred partnership agreements with Alamo and Avis will position
Cheap Tickets as one of the most comprehensive providers of discounted car
rentals in the travel industry. Cheap Tickets expects a substantial increase
in its car rental revenue in 2000, due to its preferred partner agreements.
"We are pleased to announce that Alamo and Avis have signed on to become
Cheap Tickets' preferred partners," said Sam Galeotos, president and COO,
Cheap Tickets. "We are committed to bringing value to our customers, both in
the air and on the ground. Cheap Tickets' goal is to provide our customers
with a one-stop shop for all of their travel needs, and our new preferred
partners will allow us to further that goal."
Under the terms of the new agreements, Cheap Tickets will enable its
customers to choose from thousands of car rental offerings from either Alamo
or Avis, through Cheap Tickets' proprietary car rental-booking system. This
new system will streamline the car rental process by providing consumers with
the opportunity to rent ground transportation while they book their air
travel. The new system has already been implemented in Cheap Tickets' call
centers and is set to launch online by the end of the second quarter of this
year.
The new agreements mark another period of rapid growth for Cheap Tickets,
making it one of the top online discount travel sellers worldwide. In fact,
Cheap Tickets offers its customers one of the largest product selections in
the discount travel market place, with more than 400,000 non-published
airfares from more than 35 of the world's top carriers and now, thousands of
discounted car rental rates from two of the leading car rental agencies
worldwide.
