Patrick J. Dennis Named CTS Corporation Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer

    ELKHART, Ind.--April 10, 2000--CTS Corporation has named Patrick J. Dennis, Senior Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer, according to an announcement today by Joseph P. Walker, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of CTS.
    Dennis brings over 25 years of broad-based, professional financial experience to CTS, most recently as Vice President Corporate Controller with Johnson Controls, Inc., Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In his previous position, he worked with all four groups within Johnson Controls (Automotive, Battery, Controls, and IFM). His responsibilities included financial consolidation, budgets/forecast, strategic planning, and acquisitions/divestitures. His background includes 12 years of international experience in South America, Europe, Africa and Asia. In announcing the appointment of Mr. Dennis, Joseph Walker commented: "Mr. Dennis' background in operating management of a 16 billion dollar tier one supplier to the automotive market, as well an extensive acquisitions and international financial background, will play a major role in the growth of CTS. We welcome Pat to our Senior Management Team."
    Dennis is a 1974 graduate of Indiana University where he majored in Finance. In 1974, he accepted an Internal Audit position with Modine Manufacturing Co., and in 1976, was named Plant Controller. He joined Johnson Controls, Inc. in 1983, and steadily progressed in positions as Plated-Plastics Controller, Engineered Plastics General Manager, Plastics Container Group Controller/IT Director, Automotive Group Controller/IT Director and, most recently, Vice President Corporate Controller.
    Professional affiliations include membership in the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovations Inc. (MAPI).
    Mr. Dennis and his wife, Claudia, will be relocating to the Elkhart area.
