Terion Appoints New President and Chief Executive OfficerMELBOURNE, Fla., April 10 Terion, Inc. announces the appointment of Jeffrey C. Locke, 51, as its President and Chief Executive Officer. Locke is also expected to be elected to the Board of Directors of Terion at Terion's next regularly scheduled Board meeting. Mr. Locke replaces James A. Hislop, President of Penske Capital Partners, who was the interim President during the executive search. Mr. Hislop will remain on the company's Board. Before joining Terion, Mr. Locke worked at Rogers Communications, Inc., in Toronto, where he was Senior Vice President of Marketing for the parent company and its wireless unit, Rogers AT&T. Rogers is Canada's largest wireless cable and Internet company. Regarded as one of the most creative and aggressive executives in telecommunications, Locke has a strong track record in start-up and early stage businesses. Locke has held senior general management positions with Sprint PCS, Ameritech Cellular, and NEC Corporation. A former lieutenant in the Marines and a Vietnam veteran, he graduated from Dartmouth College and the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
