Nexus Announced Today the Receipt of Its Fourth Order From Venezuela to Roll Out an AVL System
GIVATAYIM, Israel--April 10, 2000--Nexus Telocation Systems Ltd. announced today the receipt of an additional order for AVL infrastructure to be rolled out outside Caracas. The AVL system that was installed in Venezuela uses direction-finding technology that enables operators to locate vehicles. The system will also enable the operator to use it for Personal Location and other security applications. The current order is the third that Nexus received for the expansion of the system in Venezuela."We are now at the stage of expanding our AVL services by rolling out the AVL systems in the most populated areas of Venezuela. Nexus system proved itself as a very good and reliable platform for the security applications that we have in Venezuela," said Mr. Enrique J. Gracia, President of Telcel Cellular, C.A., the largest cellular operator in Venezuela and one of Venezuela's top Telecom Service Providers.
