New Champion(R) PowerTeam from Federal-Mogul Supports Success of Grass Roots Racers Who Rely on the World's Favorite Spark Plugs

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 7 The Champion PowerTeam, a broad
new support program for racers who compete in the NHRA Federal-Mogul Drag
Racing Series, NASCAR Weekly Racing Series and other regional series across
the United States, was introduced recently by Federal-Mogul Corporation

    The PowerTeam provides a wide range of benefits to racers and teams who

NASCAR, NHRA and other competitors through decades of superior performance.
PowerTeam membership is free.
    By joining the Champion PowerTeam, racers will have access to special
product discount programs through a list of premier local distributors, as
well as a subscription to the bi-monthly PowerTeam newsletter and a future
members-only website.  Other benefits include free uniform patches and decals
and access to technical information designed to help members maximize their
performance on the track.

racing through a variety of sponsorship programs, including substantial
contingency postings at NHRA national and divisional events and in the NASCAR

for competitors in the NHRA Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series.  This innovative
package offers cash bonuses to racers who win or finish second in any of the
