DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of April 10, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 6 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of April 10, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays and
two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 8.  Conner Ave. (MI) will operate one
eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling Heights (MI), Dodge City Complex-Warren
Truck (MI), St. Louis-South (Fenton, MO), and St. Louis-North (Fenton, MO)
will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays.  Jefferson-North (Detroit, MI)
will operate three seven-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays.  Newark (DE) will
operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  Toledo 1 (OH) will operate two eight-
hour shifts weekdays.  Toledo 2 (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts
weekdays and two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 8.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea and Windsor will operate three seven-and-a-
half hour shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half hour shifts on Saturday,
April 8.  Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.
