You can learn more about these actions via this unique sponsorship of an important environmental effort." A new corporate advertisement from Ford Motor Company will debut in the April 19 issue of TIME. The campaign is designed to communicate to the world some of the many environmental initiatives underway at Ford facilities around the world. A representation of Ford Motor Company employees, dealers and other environmental stewards are featured in the campaign. "We have literally hundreds of men and women at Ford working tirelessly to provide solutions to environmental challenges, and this campaign salutes their efforts in a most effective way," Schroer said. "The fact that our company founder put the world on wheels is well known. Perhaps less well known is the ongoing dedication to both personal mobility and the environment that is a mind-set still very much alive at Ford. The commitment is evident throughout the Ford team -- from employees working on the factory floor to senior corporate executives to the Board of Directors." To draw further attention to the 30th anniversary of Earth Day, as well as the ongoing importance of conserving the earth's natural resources, Ford Motor Company also will host a special concert in San Francisco on April 15 honoring the "Heroes for the Planet" saluted in TIME's April 19th issue, as well as many heroes from around the globe who have been profiled in TIME and TIME FOR KIDS since the series began in 1998. The A&E network will broadcast the concert on Saturday, May 20 at 7 p.m. EST.
