Dennis Hartman, Vice President and General Manager of the Gaseous Fuel Products Division said, "The Hannover fair was the perfect forum to launch many of our new products and programs, and display our technological leadership. The response from global OEMs was gratifying and further reinforced the fact that industry is fast moving to integrated power and fuel systems at the OEM supplier level. Successful OEM suppliers must have the expertise to design, develop and control fuel systems and catalyst technology. Additionally, an OEM supplier must also have global position to deliver to a worldwide market and decentralize points of manufacturing." Mr. Hartman continued, "Our Working Together program aligned many of the largest OEMs with our Spectrum product team. By forming such a coalition the OEMs gain valuable product and system development knowledge and help shape the fuel system itself in order to satisfy specific markets." Brad Garner, IES Managing Director said, "Our goal of introducing to the industry new higher technology and services for industrial applications has been achieved. This forum assisted in positioning IMPCO as a leading supplier of integrated powertrain systems." IMPCO is the world leader to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) market and aftermarket in supplying gaseous fuel management and storage systems and components that allow internal combustion engines and other propulsion systems to operate on alternative fuels such as natural gas, propane, ethanol, methanol and hydrogen used in fuel cells. IMPCO produces OEM systems for motor vehicles, buses, trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment and small portable to large stationary engines. Headquartered in Cerritos, California, the company has additional facilities in: the United States, Australia, Japan and Mexico.
