Automotive & Transportation Interiors Expo Announces A 61 Percent Increase in Advance Show RegistrationATLANTA, April 4 Automotive & Transportation Interiors Expo officials today announced that advance registrations for the 2000 Expo are running 61 percent ahead of last year at the same time. The Automotive & Transportation Interiors Expo will be held from May 16-18, 2000, at Cobo Center in Detroit and will feature: * More than 250 suppliers of equipment, materials, services, components and modules exhibiting side by side * More than 70 new exhibitors displaying fresh technologies * A conference program with 21 sessions and a faculty of more than 40 industry experts * Five specialty conferences, seminars and workshops covering air bags, adhesives, fogging, weathering and product design reviews According to Gary DeHart, publisher of Automotive & Transportation Interiors magazine, "The dramatic increase in advance registration is testament to the increasing importance interior design plays in building brand identity and differentiating competitors' vehicles." This year the Automotive & Transportation Interiors Expo occupies more square footage and has more exhibitors and technical conference sessions than ever before. In addition, the Expo will continue its tradition of holding an industry awards banquet and a golf outing. The banquet includes the magazine's annual Scholarship Awards, Design & Technology Awards, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
