Federal-Mogul Appoints Ron Quell, Vice President, Systems Protection

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 4 Tom B. Conaghan, senior vice
president, Sealing Systems, Visibility and Systems Protection, Federal-Mogul
Corporation announces the appointment of Ron Quell, 55, to the
position of vice president, Systems Protection, effective immediately.
    "Under Ron's direction, the Systems Protection operation will continue to
be one of our more successful units and we look forward to having Ron broaden
his leadership role," said Conaghan, who had previously served in this
position prior to being appointed senior vice president, Sealing Systems,
Visibility and Systems Protection.
    Prior to this appointment, Quell held the position of vice president,
Americas, for Systems Protection located in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  Quell
joined Systems Protection in 1984 as ovenseal sales manager and had held
various management roles within the company.
    Quell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science
from Albright College, Reading, Pennsylvania.
