BOLDER Technologies Reports Expansion of SecureStart(TM) Portable Jump Starter Into 800 Additional Retail StoresGolden, Colo., April 4 BOLDER Technologies Corporation announced that its SecureStart(TM) Portable Jump Starter product will become available in mid-April in Home Hardware, the largest traditional hardware chain in Canada, The Tool Warehouse in Michigan and G. I. Joe's Auto & Sporting Goods in Oregon, according to Roger F. Warren, chairman, president and CEO. Warren commented, "With the addition of these 800 new retail outlets, SecureStart will be available in approximately 3,500 total retail outlets in North America, including Sears Mall, Sears Dealer and Sears Hardware stores. We view this expansion as just the beginning of a significant increase in retail distribution during 2000." SecureStart Portable Jump Starter, introduced in the fourth quarter of 1999, is a new consumer product category: a small, lightweight, rechargeable device that can be left unused for up to a year and still provide an instant engine start on a dead battery in a car, truck, tractor or boat. It weighs less than five pounds and can be easily stored in any vehicle. SecureStart features a built-in flashlight and cable clamps, making jump starting a vehicle safe, easy and efficient.
