Pick-Ups Plus Announces the Development of Its New E-Commerce Site
MASON, Ohio--April 4, 2000--Pick-Ups Plus, Inc. (OTCBB:PUPS) announced today the appointment of Intec Solutions, Inc. of Crescent Sprint, KY as its e-commerce site developer. Intec Solutions specializes in information technology, web site creation and e-commerce development.Scheduled for completion on or before May 15, 2000, Pick-Ups Plus' e-commerce site will dramatically increase sales and provide exposure for Pick-Ups Plus not only nationally, but internationally as well. John Fitzgerald, president of Pick-Ups Plus, said: "We are very excited about our entry into the e-commerce field, as it will vastly expand our market and add additional revenues, not only for our Company, but for our individual franchisees as well. This tactical move will put us light years ahead of our mom and pop competition."
In addition to adding to total sales revenues, the e-commerce site will add product installation revenues for the Pick-Ups Plus retail locations, and will give Pick-Ups Plus the name recognition in areas yet to be serviced by a retail store. Pick-Ups Plus is in the process of formulating revenue projections at this time.
