She played a key role in both drivers' first Champ Car career victories (1999 Michigan 500 and 1996 Toronto, respectively). Holl began her CART affiliation in 1994 serving as lead research and development engineer for Reynard Racing Cars. From 1992 to 1994, Holl worked for Ferrari Design and Development as the design office manager. Prior to that, she held design engineering positions with Barnard Design (1991-1992), Benetton (1990-1991) and Ferrari (1987-1990) Formula One teams. During her college summers, she worked for Reynard and March. Holl received an honors degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South West in Plymouth, Devonshire, England. She was awarded the Institute of Mechanical Engineers prize after graduating at the top of her class. Holl's father and brother (both engineers) took her to races, sparking an interest in the sport. Nadine Haupt, Track Support Engineer, Cosworth Racing -- Launching into her fifth season in CART, Nadine Haupt joined Cosworth Racing in December as Track Support Engineer to Roberto Moreno/Patrick Racing for the 2000 season. Last season with Ilmor Engineering, Haupt held a similar position with Mercedes-Benz/Ilmor. Her CART career began in 1996 with Honda Performance Development as the Manager of Race Team Operations. At Honda, her role primarily dealt with the business operations and logistics of the trackside engineering support. Before dedicating her career to the professional racing business, Haupt worked as a development engineer at Chrysler Corporation for three years. Assignments on the Dodge Viper and Plymouth Prowler projects, as well as the Motorsports department, sparked Haupt's growing interest in the sport of auto racing. In her spare time, she owned and managed a National level race team in the Sports Car Club of America. Haupt received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1993 and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oakland University in 1994.
