New Global e-Business Services Firm is Created: Dynamis Solutions, Inc.

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 3 A new business-to-business
(B2B) Internet services firm has been created to help automotive and
technology companies conceptualize, evaluate, design and implement B2B
solutions based on the latest Internet technologies. The new company is
Dynamis Solutions, Inc. The announcement was made today by Dynamis CEO
Timothy H. Longnecker.
In announcing formation of the company, Longnecker said, "The Internet is
radically changing how companies within every industry conduct business.
These changes are providing organizations with opportunities and threats at
unprecedented rates and they have business leaders scrambling for solutions.
Dynamis is an exciting company dedicated to providing e-business strategies
and solutions to guide organizations through the complexities of Internet-
based business transformation. Our solutions achieve higher levels of
performance and value for our clients."
Dynamis' target customers are automotive and technology companies as well
as business-to-business e-commerce start-ups. Dynamis provides expert
direction for companies integrating e-business initiatives with net
marketplace exchanges and other collaborative solutions. Its services range
from helping organizations understand how the Internet can be used to improve
competitive positioning through integrating all back-end databases and
packages. "Dynamis will specialize in the business-to-business space where we
believe the most complex issues reside," said Longnecker. "We will combine
expertise in strategy formulation, process redesign, package use and
implementation with web development and database programming to offer the most
complete solutions in the market."
Competing in a market as competitive as the Internet services business
presents a significant set of challenges for any new company. However,
Longnecker likes Dynamis' position. "Demand in this segment has and will
continue to outpace supply. Recent projections show this segment will be an
$80-billion market within four to five years. Our e-business expertise will
help us to be a significant player in this huge market. In fact, our firm has
already won several competitive proposals in the automotive sector as well as
in the media and entertainment fields against established firms."
The Dynamis (http://www.edynamis.com ) senior management team includes executives
from several top management consulting firms and other companies including
McKinsey & Company, Deloitte Consulting, Booz Allen & Hamilton and
AlliedSignal. "We have assembled a team that brings significant experience
from strategy formulation through hands-on implementation," said Longnecker.
"Together, we have helped large companies solve very complex problems and we
plan on leveraging this experience to deliver lasting e-business solutions to
our clients."
Before starting Dynamis, Longnecker was a senior Partner with Deloitte
Consulting specializing in automotive and other manufacturing industries.
