DaimlerChrysler Corporation Reports U.S. and Canadian Assembly Plant Schedule for Week of April 3, 2000

    AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 30 DaimlerChrysler Corporation
reports all nine U.S. assembly plants and all three Canadian assembly plants
will operate the week of April 3, 2000.
    Belvidere (IL) will operate two eight-and-a-half-hour shifts weekdays and
two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 1.  Conner Ave. (MI), will operate one
eight-hour shift weekdays.  Sterling Heights (MI) and St. Louis-North (Fenton,
MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts weekdays.  Dodge City Complex-Warren
Truck (MI) and St. Louis-South (Fenton, MO) will operate two nine-hour shifts
weekdays and two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 1.  Jefferson-North
(Detroit, MI) will operate three seven-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays and
three seven-and-a-half-hour shifts Saturday, April 1.  Newark (DE), will
operate two nine-and-a-half-hour shifts weekdays and two nine-hour shifts
Saturday, April 1.  Toledo (OH) will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays
and two eight-hour shifts Saturday, April 1.
    In Ontario, Canada, Bramalea will operate three seven-and-a-half hour
shifts weekdays and three seven-and-a-half-hour shifts Saturday, April 1.
Pillette will operate two eight-hour shifts weekdays.  Windsor will operate
three seven-and-a-half hour shifts weekdays.
