Majestic's SAFE-T-BAR(TM) Receives National Media Coverage on EXTRA

SAN DIEGO, March 29 The Majestic Companies, Ltd.
(OTC Bulletin Board: MJXC) received prime-time national media coverage on its
new school bus occupant restraint, the SAFE-T-BAR(TM), during last night's
episode of "EXTRA," a nationally syndicated news-magazine format television
program produced by Warner Brothers Television.
The lead story on school bus safety was prompted by two tragic school bus
crashes occurring over the last two days that have many Americans questioning
the safety of our school buses. On Wednesday morning, a freight train slammed
into a school bus in Tennga, GA literally splitting the bus in two and
carrying the coach 300 to 400 feet down the tracks. The accident left two
kids killed when they were ejected from the bus with the remaining five
occupants critically injured. On Tuesday, a bus rolled over after losing
control on a rain-slicked road injuring 16 students outside Houston, TX.
After airing several video clips from on-board cameras taken during bus
accidents which showed occupants being ejected from their seats, the segment
interviewed Adrian Corbett, the inventor of the SAFE-T-BAR and Vice President
of Research and Development for Majestic Transportation Products, Ltd. After
giving a brief demonstration of how the SAFE-T-BAR works, Mr. Corbett stated,
"The sole purpose of the SAFE-T-BAR is to hold the occupant within the padded
seating area, thereby reducing the level of injury sustained as a result of
being ejected. Majestic would like to believe that if the SAFE-T-BAR had been
in place, it would have reduced the severity of injuries by possibly
preventing ejection and/or maintaining the occupant within the padded seating
area."
The story went on to report that "some consumer groups say that the
present strategy of padded seat backs which form a protective 'cocoon' are
ineffective in rear and side collisions which could make children human
projectiles."
The SAFE-T-BAR is a proprietary, patent-pending, school bus passenger
restraint system that closely resembles the type of restraint most commonly
found on high velocity amusement park rides. The heavily padded U-shaped bar
is engineered to lock in the down position during a sudden stop, collision, or
bus rollover, thereby controlling and restraining the passenger within the
padded seating area. The SAFE-T-BAR has been rigorously tested to and
complies with all requisite FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards).
The SAFE-T-BAR has completed a successful pilot program at Oceanside Unified
School District in Southern California where the product received high marks
from transportation officials, parents and students alike.
Additional information on this news story is available on EXTRA's internet
web site at: http://www.extratv.com by clicking on "Today's News." The school bus
safety segment with information on the SAFE-T-BAR is archived in the March 28,
2000 profile.
Majestic is working to install multiple Pilot Programs in key states
throughout the US over the next 6 to 9 months like the very successful program
recently set up at Oceanside, (CA) Unified to establish the SAFE-T-BAR as the
most practical and cost effective solution to the issue of making the yellow
school bus as safe as possible.
EXTRA is a nationally syndicated news-magazine format television program
that reaches 220 markets with a viewer-ship of around 6,000,000.
