Federal-Mogul Appoints David M. Sherbin, Deputy General Counsel and SecretarySOUTHFIELD, Mich., March 29 James J. Zamoyski, senior vice president and general counsel, Federal-Mogul Corporation announces the appointment of David M. Sherbin to the position of deputy general counsel and secretary, effective immediately. "This appointment recognizes David's role as a senior advisor to the executive management of Federal-Mogul on complex legal matters involving acquisitions, securities and capital markets issues and corporate secretarial matters for the Board of Directors," said Zamoyski. Sherbin joined the organization in 1997 as associate general counsel and was elected secretary of the corporation in 1999. He previously worked at Heller Financial, Inc. where he served as senior counsel with responsibility for all corporate and treasury legal functions and at Katten Muchin & Zavis in Chicago where he was an associate attorney. Sherbin earned a Juris Doctorate from Cornell University Law School, Ithaca, New York, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College, Oberlin, Ohio.
